The only show I follow religiously is Top Chef.

To be fair, she's not exactly referring to those that do great work, break news, or are otherwise awesome, ahem, but rather the folks who leave snarky comments about her appearance and sexuality on blogs. The featured quote, however, is elitist and there's no getting around that.

Good News Out of Iraq

You might not have heard about this, but this is hugely important for progress in Iraq:
Neighborhood councils such as the one in Jazera are taking responsibility for a wide range of local affairs, an important step in the U.S. plan to improve security and give Iraqis a bigger stake in their own country.
